Evan writes, "Audrey, Wait!," a break-up song that's so good it rockets up the billboard charts. And Audrey is suddenly famous!

Now rabid fans are invading her school. Audrey can't hang out with her best friend or get with her new crush without being mobbed by fans and paparazzi.

Take a wild ride with Audrey as she makes headlines, has outrageous amounts of fun, confronts her ex on MTV, and gets the chance to show the world who she really is.

i really enjoyed this book and would definitely read it again. i was hooked throughout the whole thing and couldn't put it down. We love her so much and without her, there would be no Edward Cullen *gasp* and that wouldn't be cool. maybe we can even get some recognition and have Stephenie see it and know that we all love and support her! so sign the petition and spread the word! But if you happen to, you know things will never be the same.

Three lives, three different paths to the same destination: Aspen Springs, a psychiatric hospital for those who have attempted the ultimate act -- suicide.
Vanessa is beautiful and smart, but her secrets keep her answering the call of the blade.
Tony, after suffering a painful childhood, can only find peace through pills.
And Conner, outwardly, has the perfect life. But dig a little deeper and find a boy Who is in constant battle with his parents, his life, himself.
In one instant each of these young people decided enough was enough. They grabbed the blade, the bottle, the gun -- and tried to end it all. Now they have a second chance, and just maybe, with each other's help, they can find their way to a better life -- but only if they're strong and can fight the demons that brought them here in the first place.

This was a really eye opening book with an amazing story. it followed Vanessa, Tony and Conner through their lives after attempted suicide and how it brings them into each other's lives.
i would definitely recommend this book to basically anyone because it is so beautifully written. Impulse (like all of Ellen Hopkins' books) is written in verse and this book switches back and forth between the three character's points of view. Ellen Hopkins has some definite talent and i think that everyone should experience her style of writing.
i read this book basically in one sitting and i just couldn't put it down. it was really late at night and i kept telling myself, ok, after so-and-so's POV is done, I'll go to bed, but i just couldn't do it because i was so completely drawn in to the story. 5 stars! The Fox Readshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10502896241475026024noreply@blogger.com7
